With 3D.PaintPilot, you significantly reduce the effort required for programming paint robots and make your coating processes more efficient. Manually creating robot motions is time-consuming and prone to errors, especially when components change frequently or are produced in small batch sizes. 3D.PaintPilot automates these steps and generates the appropriate robot programs directly from the real geometry of the workpiece.
To capture component geometries, the LC-X sensor developed by 3D.aero or, for smaller surfaces, the MC-X sensor is used. The captured data provides the digital basis for calculating the paint path. Based on this information, 3D.PaintPilot applies the desired spray strategy and automatically creates a ready-to-use robot program. CAD data is not required. The intuitive user interface allows quick adjustments and ensures easy operation for all users. The application is robot-manufacturer independent and delivers consistently high quality without the need for deep expert knowledge.
3D.PaintPilot makes automated coating economically viable, even for small batch sizes. It reduces programming effort, relieves personnel, and ensures stable and reproducible results in daily operation.
